Kofu Trip

How do you spend your last day of 2016? My last destination was Kofu with my family. We enjoyed hot springs and Mt.Fuji there.
We took a cable car to climb up a mountain. After getting off the cable car and arriving at the top of the mountain, we could command a clear view of Mt.Fuji. In fact, Mt.Fuji is more clearly visible in winter than in other seasons. Until the last cable car's departure, we were looking the sun setting into the mountain. After the sunset, Mt. Fuji offered the view of colorful graduation, receiving the soft light from sunshine, which looked different from what we had seen before the sunset.
What do you usually do on the last day of the year? Do you eat special food at home?
